Tons of beautiful tables! Sell any software! Swap any merchandise! Have a great time and make money, too! Eastwind Import will be there with everything in stock including LPs, CDs, and SACDs from Japan and Europe. Bargains galore!! First come first served for tables. • October: Eastwind Import presents a spectacular audio show just for our Society featuring state-of-the-art equipment flown straight from Rocky Mountain Audio Fest! Sunday, October 24, 1-4pm (with an "early peek listening session" starting at noon) at the Holiday Inn, Buena Park. The "big system" will include the Concert Fidelity DAC-040 DAC, CF-080LSX preamplifier and Silicon Arts Design ZL-200 monoblocks driving a pair of very special loudspeakers. The "small system" will feature tiny components in the Silicon Arts Design Si2 Next Class Micro Integration Line with mhi Evidence mini-monitors. Cabling will be provided by Cable Research Lab. Eastwind Import will also bring its entire inventory of audiophile software including LPs, SACDs, XRCDs and more! Great raffle! Delicious Lunch! Free Parking! Members and visitors most welcome. Cypress Street Suite D, Covina, CA - 91724. Manufacturer demonstrations will include Wilson Audio, Ayre Acoustics, Boulder, T+A, Rega, Dynaudio, Spiral Groove, and Transparent Cables. • December: It is with great pleasure that the Los Angeles and Orange County Audio Society announces that Michael Fremer, Senior Contributing Editor of Stereophile Magazine and creator of Music Angle, will co-host our 2010 Gala and Awards Banquet on December 18th in Los Angeles. His extraordinary presence as one of the world's greatest audiophiles will underscore our Society's excitement in honoring the legendary Keith O. Johnson, incredible recording engineer and equipment designer, with the Founder's Award, our highest honor. The Seventeenth Annual Gala is scheduled on Saturday, December 18th, 11am-3:30pm, in the Grand Ballroom of the Holiday Inn and Convention Center in Buena Park. Last year's Founder's Award winner was EveAnna Manley, President of Manley Labs. Michael Fremer, indisputably America's finest phono perfectionest as well as a truly insightful reviewer of all things high-end, will highlight our celebration of our Society's stellar growth to 700 members, and establishing the Los Angeles based organization as North America's largest and most successful audio society to date.
